In South Korea, for one full month, one neighborhood will become a showcase for EcoMobility initiatives. And how could we miss the opportunity to jump on this zero-emission wagon?

The EcoMobility World Festival 2013 (1 – 30 September 2013) is a real life showcase featuring future urban life in a real city, shop with real people, pilule in real time: what does it look like, how streets are organized, what ecofriendly vehicles are available and how do people get around and transport goods.

The residents of the Haenggung-dong neighborhood in Suwon, South Korea will temporarily adopt an ecomobile lifestyle to experience how traveling through integrated, socially inclusive, and healthy transport options can influence their lives positively. The Festival will show how EcoMobility provides innovative environmentally friendly means of transport – including and combining walking, cycling, wheeling, and ‘passenging’ – within a city to all its inhabitants irrespective of age, gender or physical capability. The Festival will prove that competent leadership can transform any urban area into an ecomobile urban area.

Check the Festival website to discover the amazing programme, or follow the festival on twitter: @ecomobility #EcoMobilityFestival or Facebook

FARMING THE CITY will show the ideas we are developing around the project VOEDSELLOGICA or FOODLOGICA. Stay tuned to find out more about this amazing mission to transform our urban settings
